GGD Inspection reports

The GGD conducts inspections on behalf of the municipality in childcare facilities. All childcare institutions are visited by the GGD and assessed to see if they comply with the Childcare Act. The GGD conducts annual inspection visits to daycare centers and after-school care. Inspectors examine whether policies are being developed and implemented in the following areas.

• Pedagogical climate
• Staff and groups
• Safety and health
• Accommodation
• Parental rights

Within Royal Kids Home, a policy and quality officer has been appointed to ensure the quality of our childcare locations. She is responsible for the general policy, supports all locations with location-specific policies, and is the contact person for the GGD.
